Amapola Gallery’s Featured Artists for April are slate artist Art Rosenberg and cut paper artist Elzbieta Kaleta, exhibiting works in a show titled "Natural Dimensions". Two approaches, one three dimensional and one two dimensional, combine to create a fascinating and rewarding art experience. Meet the artists Friday, April 5 from 4 to 6 pm at Amapola Gallery, now in our 44th year in Old Town. The exhibit runs through April.

Ghostwolf welcomes artist Caitlin Padilla (aka Caitie the Painter)! Caitlin is a Spiritual Surrealist painter and Winner of the New Mexico Entertains Award for Top Artist in 2023. A native New Mexican with deep roots, Caitlin pushes herself to understand the ethereal and ephemeral nature of being and the universe. Her work is inspired by philosophy, existentialism, Sacred Geometry, the interconnectedness of the Universe, the feminine ideal, and preconceived social structures. In cooperation with the AABA, the Hotel Andaluz hosts quarterly exhibitions that showcase work from local galleries. The hotel gallery is on the mezzanine alongside the Ibiza Lounge, one of three hotel dining experiences. The current exhibition features select works by Caitlin Padilla, Catalina Salinas, George H. Hayes III, Karl Hofmann, Richard Irwin, Riha Rothberg, Rocky Norton, and Victoria Mauldin. This exhibition is on view through July 15, 2024. Street, garage, and valet parking are available at the Copper Avenue entrance to the hotel.

Easter is over, and there’s still a few rabbits lurking about amongst the pottery, gourds, painters, illustrators, photography, jewelry, glass, wood, and mixed media of our fine artisan’s work. We have a new photographer on display this month and we highly recommend the ANMPAS Show at the Fine Arts building at Expo. The winners will extend their show with us in May.

Wild Hearts Gallery presents the work of featured artist Dana Patterson Roth: "Layers of Memory". Roth has recently been exploring encaustic photography; a process of applying hot beeswax onto an image. Pigments, textures and objects are incorporated into the layers of beeswax, adding new depth and meaning to an image. Her photographs will be on display through April 28. Chicky's coffee and cookies will be served 10am to 2pm on this First Sunday event.
