The Architect as Artist:
AIA Albuquerque's In-House exhibition Program

AIA Albuquerque presents its in-house exhibition program, The Architect as Artist, showing the artistic works
of Albuquerque architects. The exhibitions will include individual shows as well as theme shows. The program
is an initiative of the AIA Albuquerque Community Outreach Committee of the board of directors. David
Hassard, AIA is the committee chair.

AIA Gallery
"30/30 Vision - Thirty years; thirty photographs"

"Political Cartoons"
Exhibit by Working Classroom Students and Guest Artist

Friday, September 19.
A Life In Architecture Lecture - Rick Joy
Rick Joy's work derives from a visceral understanding of place. He shows how efficient and environmentally sensitive architecture can emerge as a by-product from the timeless qualities that are associated with great architecture. He will present his projects and ideas on architecture at this year’s lecture.
