This is a feature-length documentary about the eccentric art and musical obsessions of indie record producer Long Gone John. John has sinle-handedly released over 750 records without ever signing a contract and helped launch many careers. Along the way, he compulsively amassed a vast collection of art and pop ephemera. Through an assortment of interviews with artists, collectors, gallery owners and musicians, this movie is an exciting trip through the fascinating world art, music and popular culture once revered as fringe and now embraced by the mainstream.
