Ms Judy Mohr, Desert Corn Gallery owner, and creative designer of the exclusive JEWELS BY JAMA line introduced in 2007, resided in the small ghost town of Madrid, New Mexico. There she ran a gallery for fourteen years. In 2006, Judy sold the Madrid gallery and returned to her home in Albuquerque, New Mexico. As a young woman, Judy was invited to attend her first ever international gem show. While at the show, Judy encountered an eldery gentleman, a simple stranger, who pleasantly told her "Young lady always remember that beads were first used as trade". Her passion for beads and international travel, took her to all corners of the world. Over the past twenty years Judy has since collected from Africa, Central America, South America, and all across the USA.
During her travels, Judy's passion was to collect old beads, gems, and other precious stones. In doing so, Judy met local artists as well, and as a result, today her designs and authentic works are vibrant, breathtaking, One Of A Kind conversation pieces.
