Margaret Moses Branch has collected historical Native American fine art since 1983 when she opened Nizhoni Moses Ltd., in Old Town Albuquerque, New Mexico. Horace Moses, Margaret’s grandfather was the president as well as one of the founders of the Gallup Ceremonial. Horace’s wife, Margaret Winnips Moses, loved all Native American art and was a courier for the “Fred Harvey Company.” She gave tours to the travelers that came by train and educated them on the culture of the Native Americans. She herself was a major collector of fine American art.

25 years in the Arts has motivated Margaret to expand the focus of the gallery. She continues to highlight the fine old and newer textiles of the Dine (Navajo) as well as the pottery and jewelry of the Native people of New Mexico and Arizona. You will also find Southwestern paintings by local artists both native and non-native and other fine art from the region.

Nizhoni-Moses.com is now MargaretMoses.com. Thank you for visiting!
